The BP-MP1MKII from Tascam is a compact multi-format Blu-ray, DVD, and CD player with SD and USB flash support up to 512GB. Sporting a plethora of analog audio outputs as well as a fully featured HDMI port that supports Dolby Atmos, this player is ideal in wide ranging commercial, home theatre, public, entertainment, and educational applications.
You can playback media on most disc formats and external memory devices, including stills, video (up to 1080p), and a wide range of audio formats. The device includes balanced XLR audio outputs, RCA for stereo, 7.1 surround, and S PDIF digital output, and both Ethernet and D-SUB RS-232C connections for external remote control. This 1 RU rack-mounted player includes a wireless remote control, batteries, a power cord, and set of rack screws.
The BD-MP1MKII eliminates the need for discrete audio video playback devices in an installation, offering single-source playback for a wide range of media and file formats
The unique Power-on Play feature allows the BD-MP1MKII to start playing desired content immediately on power up, without having to engage the Play feature first. With Repeat Mode set to on, content will automatically start, loop, and play continuously until power is turned off.
Panel lock, IR, and tray lock functions prevent accidental or user-error operation or alteration of pre-set controls in commercial installations, helping ensure consistent and reliable performance in any installation.
The monitor display can be set to show a black screen during start up rather than the manufacturer s standard factory setup and source select menus, creating an elegant and non-distracting visual start-up environment each time the system is turned on.
Two USB Memory Ports, one front panel and one back panel, allow fixed or interchangeable access to USB memory data for playback versatility.
A standard rear panel HDMI output connection provides easy, reliable plug-and-play connection to any HDMI-compatible monitor display or television. In addition to HD video, Dolby Atmos audio can also be output.

Playback of 2 channel linear PCM is also supported. Finally, you get RCA outputs for 7.1 surround sound systems, including left and right, center, side left and right, surround back and right, and subwoofer.
Seamless, reliable two-way device status feedback and control is offered for professional installations via back panel RS-232C and Ethernet connections, enabling the BD-MP1MKII to be integrated into more sophisticated AV setups.
